KEITH DEVLIN, mathematician, is a Senior Researcher at Stanford University, and Executive Director of Stanford's H-STAR institute (Human-Sciences and Technologies Advanced Research institute). He is the author of Goodbye, Descartes : The End of Logic and the Search for a New Cosmology of the Mind; Life by the Numbers; The Language of Mathematics: Making the Invisible Visible; Mathematics,InfoSense, The Math Gene, The Millennium Problems, and The Unfinished Game.
His latest books are The Man of Numbers: Fibonacci’s Arithmetic Revolution; Leo and Steve: The Young Genius Who Beat Apple to Market by 800 Years (e-book original); and Mathematics Education for a New Era: Video Games as a Medium for Learning.
