DAVID GOODHART is the founder and editor of Prospect magazine, the respected London based intellectual monthly. Known for its insightful analysis of current affairs, Prospect is celebrating its 10th anniversary at the end of September and can now boast a circulation of over 23,000.

Goodhart hatched the idea for an authoritative, good to read, essay-based monthly when covering German unification as Bonn correspondent for the FT.

Assured by all that it would never work — Goodhart has had the satisfaction of seeing his dream come true. Prospect is now an established part the British conversation and increasingly the global conversation too.
