CLIFF BARNEY is a journalist who has covered technology since the semiconductor revolution in the 1960s when he was initiated into the technology revolution by the great editor, Lew Young. He has written for the San Francisco Examiner, Los Angeles Times, New York Daily News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Providence Journal, Pawtucket (R.I.) Times, and Stars and Stripes, Darmstadt, Germany.
In 1994 he moved to a jungle village in Mexico and started looking at technology from the other end of the telescope. Recently he relocated further north on the same ocean, to the edge of the communications jungle in Santa Monica, CA.
He is the editor of Tales of the Network Frontier.
