JUSTIN HALL is a Web pioneer, a video gaming consultant, and founder and author of Justin's Links.

A lifelong electronic gamer, Hall studies and writes about the under-analyzed culture of video games. He has contributed articles about gaming to Rolling Stone, Wired Magazine, Salon, Feed, and a number of game industry web sites. Much of his writing in this field considers games as an active field of dialog between user and developer. Hall is personally invested in understanding the experience of immersion in simulation and virtual worlds.

Hall has spoken on issues in gaming to audiences both in North America and Europe. His past work includes stints as PlayStation Editor and Director of Innovation at Gamers.com in California. He has spent the last year living in Tokyo, expanding his understanding of electronic entertainment in Korea and Japan. This year he will serve as a non-resident fellow at Stanford Law school.
