NICK ISAAC is Macroecologist at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, UK, and holds a research fellowship from the Natural Environment Research Council. He gained a PhD in evolutionary biology from Imperial College London. His research interests include how species abundance and distribution varies across space and time, and how species are chosen as priorities for conservation.
