David Pesetsky
Professor of Modern Languages and Linguistics at MIT
DAVID PESETSKY is Ferrari P. Ward Professor of Modern Languages and Linguistics at MIT, and Margaret MacVicar Faculty Fellow. He has published numerous articles and books on a variety of topics in linguistics, including syntax, word-structure and language acquisition. Among his other activities, he is principal second violin in the New Philharmonia Orchestra of Massachusetts, and is currently combining his linguistic and musical interests with a project on the syntax of tonal music.
