Azar Gat
Ezer Weizman Professor of National Security, Tel Aviv University; Author, War in Human Civilization
AZAR GAT is a researcher and author on military history and military strategy. Currently, he is the Ezer Weizman Professor of National Security and in his second term as Chair of the Department of Political Science at Tel Aviv University. He is the founder and head of the University's Executive Masters Program in Diplomacy and Security.
He is the author of such books as: A History of Military Thought: From the Enlightenment to the Cold War and War in Human Civilization.
Gat is also a Major (res.) in the Israeli Army.
