Robert Kurzban
ROBERT KURZBAN began his training with co-founders of the field of evolutionary psychology John Tooby and Leda Cosmides, and was the first PhD minted from the Center for Evolutionary Psychology at the University of California Santa Barbara. He is now at the forefront of the new generation of evolutionary psychologists and, in 2008, he won the inaugural Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution Human Behavior and Evolution Society (HBES). In addition, he serves on the editorial board of HBES' flagship journal, Evolution and Human Behavior, and the increasingly-important on-line journal, Evolutionary Psychology as an Associate Editor. He sits on the Board of Directors of the International Foundation for Research in Experimental Economics.
