ANDY CLARK is Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Cognitive Science Program at Indiana University, Bloomington. He has written extensively on Artificial Neural Networks, Robotics and Artificial Life. His is the author of Microcognition: Philosophy, Cognitive Science and Parallel Distributed Processing Associative Engines and Being There: Putting Brain, Body and World Together Again.
